It's actually really hard for me to debug this - I can't get ffmpeg support to build at all on my dev machine, and only managed to get it to work on an old laptop - where it worked just fine (no crashes, under Linux at least). This is 100% unrelated to the issue that was resolved here :) not sure if your fix will apply there as well? turns out thsoe insta crash on the newer builds too, but not on the 22nd that im using. I did try to record some video as I was working on a ffmpeg.cfg.

It seems the buildbot might be having some issues (the Android nightlies are stuck on an old build as well) - hopefully this will resolve itself. retroarch-v1.9.0-cores-windows-10 Scanner Internet Archive HTML5 Uploader 1.6.4 Year 2020. Figured it may be due to gpu screenshot being enabled, but on or off makes no difference. RetroArch v1.9.0 + Cores (Win10) Item Preview retroarch-1400x800.jpg. Figured it might be the fact that im loading from an already saved state so tried with a blank slate, no good. Figured it might be core related so tried a different core, no good. RetroArch crashes when attempting to save states.

Just make sure to download retroarch Wii and FBA-specific roms.

I also attach a compatibility list (made by a member of gbatemp, not me) so you will know what works and whatnot. Only RetroArch bugs should be filed here. HOWEVER, i got great news for you: HUNDREDS of classic arcade games are playable in Retroarch (FBA, CPS1, CPS2, NEO-GEO) Wii and with perfect perfeormance.
